About the Event

|COLORS OF THE RAINBOW - PATHWAYS TO YOUR CHAKRAS

(designed for non-artist yogis (artists are welcome, too!))

Have you been curious to learn more about your chakras?

What does it feel like when a chakra is more or less “open”?

Does your sense of grounding ever escape you and anxiety sets in?

Can you expand your heart chakra to receive and give more love?

This workshop offers a guided self-exploration of your energetic body.  You will be led through each energy center with a combination of simple yoga postures, meditation and music (with optional chanting).  Each preparatory set will provide you with experiential information to step into another realm of expression with intuitive painting.  It should be noted that during the entire workshop each participant will be entirely self-focused and no one will be observing/commenting on the painting or any other portion of your practice.  Lisa will be available to provide facilitation of the painting process as needed.Fostering a connection with your energetic body can lead to positive shifts in your mental, emotional and physical well-being. We will integrate these experiences with a grounded, closing practice.  You will leave with your personal paintings as a visual reminder and/or tool for your continued personal discovery.

Workshop is limited to 6 participants.

Material fee will cover art items and (nondairy) chai tea.

BRING:  water bottle, yoga mat & meditation cushion (if available),  & a travel mug for tea.

WEAR:  stretchy, layered clothing that can tolerate a splash or two of paint (it is washable!).

Painting aprons will be on hand.
